Content Guidelines

HAMMERHEADS welcomes players, creators, streamers, and media who want to share, discuss, and showcase our games.

These guidelines apply to games, gameplay footage, screenshots, videos, logos, audio, text, and related materials owned by HAMMERHEADS.

We may update these guidelines at any time, so please refer to the latest version of this page.

1. Gameplay Videos and Streaming

You may create and share gameplay videos, livestreams, impressions, reviews, clips, and other coverage of HAMMERHEADS games.

This includes:

• YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, X, Instagram, NicoNico, and similar platforms
• Livestreams and recorded videos
• Reviews, commentary, criticism, and game discussion
• Clips and highlights
• News coverage, articles, and editorial content
• Thumbnails and promotional images using gameplay footage or screenshots

However, the following are not allowed:

• Posting unreleased or non public content before official release and/or announcement
• Sharing leaked, datamined, or unlawfully obtained material
• Using our games in a misleading way
• Presenting your content as officially approved, sponsored, or affiliated when it is not
• Using our content in unlawful, hateful, abusive, or harmful material
• Reuploading our game content primarily as a substitute for the game itself

2. Monetization

We allow monetization through the standard platform tools provided by major content platforms.

This includes:

• YouTube Partner Program
• Twitch monetization features
• Platform based ads, subscriptions, and tipping features

The following are not allowed without separate permission:

• Selling screenshots, videos, or other HAMMERHEADS materials by themselves
• Selling access to our content as a standalone product
• Using our games or assets for merchandise or other commercial products
• Licensing or redistributing our materials for business use without permission

For commercial uses beyond normal creator, editorial, or fan activity, please contact us first.

3. Screenshots and Images

You may use in-game screenshots and officially released images for purposes such as:

• Social media posts
• Reviews and articles
• Video thumbnails
• Blogs, impressions, and commentary
• Stream announcements

You may crop, resize, and lightly edit screenshots for layout or presentation.

Please do not edit them in a way that misrepresents the game or falsely suggests official endorsement.

The following are not allowed:

• Selling screenshots or official images on their own
• Repackaging and redistributing our visual assets as a resource pack
• Using our materials in a way that damages the reputation of the game or studio
• Using our materials in ways that infringe the rights of others

4. Music and Audio

Gameplay videos and streams may include in-game music, sound effects, and audio as part of normal coverage.

However, you may not:

• Upload the soundtrack or in-game music by itself as the main content
• Distribute audio files or extracted sound assets
• Reuse our music or sound assets in other commercial or standalone projects without permission

5. Spoilers

We do not generally prohibit spoiler related discussion or coverage.

That said, we ask creators to be considerate of other players and clearly warn for major spoilers where it is appropriate.

Unreleased, unannounced, or otherwise non public material may not be shared under any circumstances.

6. Mods

HAMMERHEADS allows non commercial, unofficial mods for personal use under the following conditions.

Allowed in principle:

• Personal use modifications
• Small scale fan experiments
• Non commercial community sharing of mod related information

Not allowed:

• Redistributing the game itself or official assets
• Distributing modified game files that include our original data
• Cheats, cracks, DRM circumvention, or security bypass tools
• Mods that harm online features, other users, or platform integrity
• Mods that contain unlawful, hateful, exploitative, or otherwise harmful content
• Mods presented as official or endorsed by HAMMERHEADS

Please note that mods are unofficial.

We do not provide support, guarantees, or compatibility assurances for modded versions of our games.

If a mod causes bugs, crashes, save data loss, or other issues, we can not be able to help.

If we introduce official mod support in the future, we will publish separate rules for it.

7. Prohibited Uses

We do not allow any use of our content that includes:

• Illegal activity and/or promotion of illegal activity
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination
• Defamation and abusive conduct
• Misrepresentation of HAMMERHEADS, our games, or our dev members
• Infringement of third-party rights
• Publication of leaked or improperly obtained content
• False claims of official partnership, endorsement, or approval

HAMMERHEADS reserves the right to request removal of content that violates these guidelines.

8. Press and Business Use

We welcome news coverage, reviews, commentary, and editorial use of our games and materials.

For advertising, product use, merchandise, event promotion, publishing, or other business-related use beyond normal coverage, please contact us in advance.
